The film
By 1996 Sidaris had stopped pretending these were anything but a party, and the films are more fun for it. Strain leads the agency against a wrestler-turned-crime-lord called The Warrior, the espionage plot dissolves on contact, and everyone on screen appears to be having the time of their lives.
It's looser than Fit to Kill — late Sidaris always is — but Strain's screen presence carries it, and as a double bill with the earlier film it maps the whole arc of his strange career.
Editions: what to look for
The Mill Creek Blu-ray includes the Sidaris-and-Strain comedy intro, an audio commentary with Andy and Arlene Sidaris and a behind-the-scenes compilation — generous treatment for a film like this. It's also in the 12-film budget set if you'd rather inhale the lot.
